The data Lookup feature provides lenders with a centralized platform to directly access and verify their customers' information. Lenders are able to access this module via a "Data Lookup" option in the sidebar. This feature allows lenders to select a service, fill out a  form with the required inputs like BVN or account number, and upon submission, the system will process the request, charge the lender, and display the results. 


Types of data you can look up on the admin console

  • NG National Identity Number (NIN)

  • NG Bank Verification Number (BVN)

  • NG Bank Account Verification

  • Karma

  • Email Verification

  • NG CRC Credit Bureau

  • NG Credit-Registry Credit Bureau

  • NG First Central Credit Bureau

  • Phone Number Verification

  • NG MTN Sim Swap Verification

  • NG MTN Sim Activation Verification

  • NG MTN Sim Recycle Verification


This article demonstrates using the data lookup feature to verify information associated with a customer. Here are the steps


  1. Log in to the admin console and click on Data Lookup under Requests Management



  1. Click on the New Data Lookup button



  1. From the dropdown, select from the available options the kind of data lookup you want to perform



  1. For BVN data lookup, provide the user’s BVN in the input field and submit



  1. Upon the confirmation of submission, you would have completed the lookup process and would see the details attached to the BVN provided.




The same process applied for account verification and NIN Verification as well
