What is a Bank Statement?
A bank statement is a summary of all the financial transactions that occurred in your bank account over a specific period—typically 30, 60, or 90 days. It shows how much money you’ve received, spent, transferred, or withdrawn, giving lenders a clear picture of your financial behavior.
When applying for a loan, lenders request your bank statement to assess your income, spending habits, and overall creditworthiness. That’s where MBS (MyBankStatement) comes in, it simplifies the process of securely sharing your bank statement with your lender.
Why Use MBS?
Many of our lenders use the MBS integration to make it easy for you to generate and submit your bank statement directly from your bank, without needing to visit a branch or send a PDF.
Step-by-Step: How to Generate Your Bank Statement with MBS
Enter Your Bank Details
Input your account number and select your bank from the list. Kindly find the list of banks supported here.
The system will verify your account automatically.
Enter Your Ticket & Password
Your ticket number and password are credentials provided by your bank that allow MBS to fetch your statement securely.
Different banks have different ways of sending this information (we’ll cover that shortly).
Authorize the Transaction
Your bank will charge a small fee to process and send your statement.
This fee varies by bank and will be deducted from your account.
