Groups are essential financial communities which  promote collective responsibility and financial inclusion. On Lendsqr’s Pecunia, admins can set a variety of attributes to customize the group settings according to preference. With the use of these attributes, admins can control the visibility of the group to members and non-members, impose strict membership limits, permit the addition of members via links or other members, and create an onboarding message for new members.

In this article, we shall be exploring the option of controlling group visibility to members and the public.

  1. Log into Pecunia and navigate to groups under the Customer Management tab.

  1. Click on any group and open the group attributes tab

  1. Locate the Visibility attribute and edit

  1. You can choose to turn off the group’ visibility to the public

  1. Submit and confirm the attribute update

  1. Upon completion of the steps above, the particular group whose visibility attribute has been changed will no longer be seen on the web app

  1. You can set the group to be publicly visible as well

  1. Afterwards, the groups will be visible on the web app to members and non-members

Here is a video tutorial on controlling group visibility.
