As a Lender on Lendsqr, you have this ability to create a mandate to collect funds that were booked outside the Lendsqr ecosystem.

This can be done by creating a direct debit mandate on Pecunia for the customer’s account.


There are two methods to do this:

  • Via invite, there the mandate is sent to the customer via email and they authorize it with their signature

  • Via manual upload, where the signed form can be uploaded directly on Pecunia


Creating a direct debit mandate via invite


  1. Navigate to direct debit on the side menu, Click Direct Debits.

  2. Click on the new mandate button.

  1. Select the by invite option.

  2. Fill in the details of the mandate.

  3. Click continue. 

  1. A mandate will be created without a mandate ID.

  1. An invite will be sent to the customer via email with a link to sign their mandate.  After the user signs the mandate, the mandate ID will be added









Creating a direct debit mandate via upload


  1. Navigate to direct debit on the side menu, Click Direct Debits.

  2. Click on download to get the template and fill it with the appropriate information.

  3. Click on the new mandate button.

  1. Select the manual upload button.

  2. Fill in the details of the mandate 

  3. Upload the filled mandate form

  1. Click continue. A mandate will be created with a mandate number.
