As a Lender on Lendsqr, you can create a mandate to collect funds that were booked outside the Lendsqr ecosystem.

This can be done by creating a direct debit mandate on the Lendsqr Admin console for the customer’s account.


There are two methods to do this:

  • Via invite, there the mandate is sent to the customer via email and they authorize it with their signature

  • Via manual upload, where the signed form can be uploaded directly on the Lendsqr Admin console.


Creating a direct debit mandate via invite


  1. Click the "Direct Debits" sub-tab under the "Loan Management" tab on the side navigation of Lendsqr Admin console.

  2. Click on the "New mandate" button.

  1. Select the "Invite" option.

  2. Fill in the details of the mandate.

  3. Click "Create". 

  1. A mandate will be created without a mandate ID.

  1. An invite will be sent to the customer via email with a link to sign their mandate.  After the user signs the mandate, the mandate ID will be added



Creating a direct debit mandate via upload


  1. Click the "Direct Debits" sub-tab under the "Loan Management" tab on the side navigation of the Lendsqr Admin console.

  2. Click on the "Download Template" button to get the template and fill it with the appropriate information.

  3. Click on the "New mandate" button after.

  1. Select the "Manual upload" button.

  2. Fill in the details of the mandate 

  3. Upload the filled mandate form

  1. Click "Create". A mandate will be created with a mandate number.
